May Days

Things to be Thankful For on a May Monday

Buds on a hydrangea that has produced two flowers in the last four years

Two concerts in a week means my child is talented and able to do something she loves

14 1/2 days of school left until my kids stop whining every morning

Several area churches gathering yesterday to pray for our community and our nation

Sweet sisters who bring deep needs to our attention so that we may join them in prayer

Being able to visit my mom on Mother’s Day this week

A clear Word from the Lord

May you Monday be joyful, prayerful, and productive!

  1. Thanks Ginger! I hope you have a great week!

  2. Hey! Piggly Wiggly....Handy Andy! I remember both ... there's still a Handy Andy somewhere in South/Central Texas. My cousin told me about it. My cigar boxes serve for pencils and stuff still, now and then. They're on a shelf now ... but I still love them. I enjoyed your list of things to be thankful for. A big Amen to a clear word from the Lord!Aren't you glad He speaks to us! I just wish I could fine-tune my hearing! And obedience! But I think He knows that. Love ya, Jenn

  3. PS - was just re-reading through things and saw your comment on our 'gardener' (squirrel). I originally thought it was cruel that the neighbors caught and relocated them. They (the neighbors) have pecan trees. I get it now! We don't have many - squirrels - but I did see 2 the other day in the yard. And, I know of others who think the same about deer. Civilization. Jenn

  4. Ginger, it is so precious when we have heart of thanksgiving. It so totally changes our outlook and what we also bring up with-in us to share with others. What an enjoyable list here for a Monday. ;-) Lovingly, Yolanda
